I'm a single father of 6 - 3 boys, 3 girls. 2 boys 11 & 16 are still at home.

I was raised on a yacht in Southern California and made an early career as a shipwright, earning my mastery after a 7 year apprenticeship. My twin sister,  Jacqueline, and I were the oldest of 6 children. Our father was a successful government lawyer with a penchant to raise his children away from the dogma of tract cultural influences. His paybacks have been as colorful as our stray

 imaginations could calculate.

My first wife and I followed a Mork and Mindy dream to Colorado in 1980 in an effort to change my career to one safer and more suited to raise our children.

My woodworking knowledge has been used to design and build children's

furniture, homes, and finally commercial architectural millwork. The last 15 years have been spent behind a desk which has led me to seek a more creative outlet to appease my primal desire to build and etheric  requirement, to sail. I write to displace my dreams, to embarrass my children, and to leave a crumb trail back to where we were.
